Steve’s repertoire of jazz standards spans a wide range of tunes including swing, latin, blues and ballads. He’s available to play as a duo or with a trio, quartet or quintet depending on your needs and tastes. He even does solo guitar gigs with one of those new fangled looper pedal thingos – fun!
Duo with vocalist Melanie Pells, with an emphasis on bossa nova and latin grooves.

Duo with Pete Kohlhoff on double bass.
Add a relaxed and sophisticated sound to your next function.

Trio with Phil Stack (bass) and Dave Goodman (drums).
The trio add drums, a wider range of styles and grooves, energy and interaction. This format suits expanding beyond jazz standards to include impressionistic versions of pop and rock tunes (that means we play some great pop tunes with a jazz vibe!).

Solo jazz guitar, or with a looper to provide live self accompaniment.
On the video below with the quartet: Darren Heinrich plays organ, Pete Kohlhoff bass, and Andrew Massey drums.
The quartet + adds keys/organ, sax, vocals and covers music from nearly the past 100 years including Steve’s originals from his Kthwack! album.
